About Yuki Tanaka

I've lived in Kyoto my whole life and I'm still discovering new things about this city. I grew up in a family that ran a small tea house in Gion, so I know the narrow alleys, the seasonal festivals, and the hidden shrines that most travelers walk right past.

I love sharing Kyoto with curious women who want to experience the city slowly — not through a checklist, but through conversation, tea, and wandering. I'll take you to my favourite second-hand bookshop, the matcha stand that's been there since 1924, and the bamboo grove where almost nobody goes before 7am.

I speak English fluently and I'm a certified cultural guide. I believe every visit to Kyoto should feel like a homecoming.
